Lukas was being way too calm, but Michael paused when he heard the boyfriend comment come out of Lukas' mouth. Huh... Usually he'd ignore that part and just go straight for the threatening bits.
The foreign male looked down at the blade, watched the punk lick it. It was unnerving, especially when he couldn't see his eyes past those dark aviators. "You don't have the guts--" The male was going to say, but Michael butted in.
"Oh trust me, he does," he replied, pulling his hair up into an elastic he pulled off his wrist. Michael always seemed to have one on him. "How do you think my face got so fucked up?" With that, he smiled.
The bigger male looked a bit horrified and took a step back, turning to murmur something in a different language to his buddies behind him. After all, he was just fresh out of high school, still a kid, even. Nineteen, like Michael and Lukas, probably.
"You're fucking crazy," he replied and turned to grab his bag and leave, his friends already starting to get up and gather their things, too.

He shifted his tongue in his mouth, unable to feel comfortable. Blood stained his lips as he looked over at Michael, wiping it off on the sleeve of his old shirt. "Yeh," he answered, unable to really talk right, either. Hm. This might not have been a good idea, but it was pretty satisfying to watch those guys run off all freaked out.
He spat blood onto the sidewalk, flicking his pocketknife closed and returning it to his pocket. "Lhet's ghet sum icthe cream."

When the guys ran away, Michael let out a sigh and looked over at the other punk. He rolled his eyes and dug out a handkerchief and handed it over. "Here," he offered.
Wild cherry was the flavor he got when they went to get ice cream. He loved fruity flavors, all packed into a delicious sugar cone. He smiled happily as he licked at his ice cream, glancing over at his friend. "You feeling better? What flavor did you get?"

Who carried around stuff like this? Lukas just stuffed it into his pocket, growling at Michael that he'd use it if he needed it. When they went to get ice cream, he just wanted something for his tongue to stop... hurting. Just a regular, ol'e, vanilla cone. Meeting up with Michael, his eyes met the question since his tongue was buried in the soft serv. "Eh?"

He glanced down at the boy's tongue stuffed down into the vanilla ice cream and he laughed, giving Lukas a gentle push. "You fucking idiot," he stated, as he looked down at Lukas' tongue again. "Trying to look tough and all you ended up doing was giving yourself a speech impediment. One day you're gonna fuck up real bad."
He shook his head and gave his ice cream another lick, humming softly at the sweetness. It tasted really good, made Michael really happy. He loved food; it was probably the easiest way to make him compliant.
"So," he started, looking over at Lukas once they'd found a little spot of wall they could lean up against. "What brought you out of hiding?"
He still was a bit miffed that Lukas went off and disappeared without saying anything to him.

Lukas furrowed his brows. Though, and oddly enough, he accepted the lecture without much backlash. Maybe the ice cream was helping him keep his cool. He just huffed, letting his frustration fester rather than explode. Why? Because Michael had more to bitch about, undoubtedly.
"I thol' u," he spoke tersely, "I wudn't gonna mith d'so." And the practice beforehand, either. Especially since Lance was gonna be there... there was something he wanted to do for him. Lukas tripped, staggering a bit ahead to catch himself. "Wao," he was saved, but his ice cream wasn't... "s'it..."

Oh right, the show. He forgot that was the reason. Well, at least Lukas hadn't given up on the band. That was a plus.
When Lukas tripped, Michael reached out and grabbed his arm, catching him, but as a result, it knocked his ice cream out of Lukas' hand and onto the ground. "Fuck..." He looked up at Lukas and frowned pitifully. "I'm sorry."
He held up his ice cream cone, offering it to the other male. "Here, have mine. You need it more than me." It probably tasted better, too.

Lukas glared at the hands on his arm, then back up to Michael. He pulled a familiar wallet out of his pocket, but not because it belonged to him. Removing two dollars, he jerked his arm away. "I'll just go get another one," he grumbled. "Here," the boy offered Michael his wallet back, "I don't like cherry."

He blinked. When did Lukas get a hold of his wallet? He was sure that he didn't feel anything. Damn, he'd have to be more careful if he was that easy to rob. that or Lukas was just getting a lot better at pickpocketing.
He took his wallet back with a sigh, stuffed it into his pocket, and waited for the boy to get his second cone. When he'd returned, Michael was already down to the sugar cone of his own ice cream.
"You gonna disappear again when the show is over?" Jumping right to the chase.

"No," he answered. Actually, he was looking at Michael rather strangely... like a skeptical offensive. Lukas licked his vanilla cone, mixing traces of blood with the sugary whiteness. What was the big deal, anyway? "We're gonna practice at Teddy's house, though." They couldn't go back to his at the moment. "Well. His grandma's, no doubt that's where he is, anyway."
