He eventually made up with his parents. They promised to give him a little more independence as long as he went to school, so he did. They helped him go to the best school he knew of, perfect for majoring in music. He was happy he got to do what he wanted and they were happy that he was going to university.
The fact that he was still working in that band, with those hoodlums, still left a bad taste in their mouths, but they were willing to ignore it for the time being.
After school let out, he headed out, probably to go find something to eat, but there was a familiar figure standing by one of the pillars. "Sup," he stated towards the brunette punk. "You never come around here."

The aviators seemed almost too big for his skinny face, as the punk leaned coolly against the pillar. He was a sight on the backdrop of a university that didn't fit in, with his ragged clothes and messy hair. Lukas followed the asses of two girls that walked by, disgusted by the manner in which he clicked his tongue at them. He uncrossed his arms, silently shedding his shadowy shroud to reach out and pull Michael under his wing.
"How was class today, man?" Not that he readily cared about that mess, but he was glad that the kid decided to stay in school. And a great music school, no less. Lukas gave his side a soft, salutational, jab. "Fuckin' any of your teachers yet?" He grinned, wide and toothily.

He laughed in reply, giving the other punk a playful push, his own grin just as wide and toothy as Lukas' was. "You'd fuckin' know if you'd been around." He straightened out his clothes a bit though scowled a bit once he'd fixed himself up. "Where the hell have you been? You like... disappeared off the face of the fuckin' planet." Michael didn't seem all that happy with Lukas.

His laughter lulled in lieu of the questions as to where he'd been. "Hey, man, I'm here now, right?" Lukas plucked a cigarette from his lips and blew the smoke softly over Michael's face. "Did Teddy cry a lot?" It was meant as a joke, but he wouldn't doubt if the little punk had sobbed himself to sleep every night. He really missed his little sidekick, his little imp. Teddy was like a goddamn brother to him.
Michael, though.
"You guys know I wouldn't miss practice before our show tomorrow."

"The hell if I know," he replied, shrugging as he ignored the smoke that was in his face. In retaliation, he stole the cigarette from Lukas and puffed on it, blowing the smoke out after a few moments. "I haven't seen him around for a wihle either." He cut his eyes at Lukas, flicking the loose ash off the end of the cigarette before taking another puff. "Maybe you hurt his feelings so much he ran away," he replied with a smirk.
As if. Teddy would just hide himself away in his room at his grandma's. It wasn't hard to find Teddy when he would go missing. Lukas on the other hand...
"No, but seriously, where have you been?"

"There's no where he'd run off too," the kid was too much of a coward to go anywhere worthwhile, "probably at his grandma's house." He was probably better off too, getting pampered and taken care of by his grams. Lukas snorted, laughing again at the thought of finding Teddy exactly where he figured, only fatter than he'd been.
Lukas took back the cigarette. "I said it doesn't matter, so stop asking." Even through his sunglasses he saw it, a trio of boys looking at them. Why were they smiling like that?
Lukas suddenly stopped. He turned so he faced directly toward them, undeniably glaring back at them through his shades. Ash was flicked off the dying cigarette. He just stood there, yet something about him was entirely too intimidating. The boy screwed his lips into a nasty grin, slipping a hand in his pocket. His posture became somewhat more relaxed than it was previously rigid.
Michael should know what he wrapped his bony fingers around.

"Tch," he threw another scowl at the punk when the cigarette was taken away from him. "Yeah? Well it matters to me," he grumbled, letting Lukas have the fag.
His attention was caught again when Lukas went queiet. He paused, glancing over to the boy, then to the direction at which he was staring. Three boys were smirking at them.
Oh no.
Michael was fine with a rumble, but not here. Not on campus. He'd get expelled and he couldn't afford that.
He looked over at the punk again and realized his hand was in his pocket. It was true that Michael knew what he was gripping his hand around. "Not here," he murmured to him, walking into Lukas' line of sight. He put a palm to his chest, making contact in hopes of grounding him. "Not here, Lukas."

Rumble? Nah, he just wanted to scare them a little, teach them a lesson. There were only a few reasons for them to stare at them like that, and none of them were acceptable. There wasn't anyone around, so he didn't know what Michael's deal was--he shouldn't be alright with this either, you know.
The boy sneered. "Gonna kiss me goodbye, Mickey?" He huffed, pushing the kid off. "I'm just gonna talk to them, I wanna know what's so funny..." He slinked over, keeping his hand in his pocket. "Hey, guys," Lukas sounded genuinely friendly toward them, which was met--of course--with frozen shoulders.
These guys didn't look like shit. Poshy guys, probably sheltered their whole lives by their parents. Lukas could smell it on them when he got close enough. "What's so funny, eh?"

He stumbled a little when he was pushed off and he hissed again. "It's Mikah," he grumbled under his breath and started to follow Lukas so he wouldn't be overrun. Three against one? Even with a pocket knife that was unfair.
When Lukas walked up, one of the older kids stood and walked to meet the punk a bit of the way. "Just watching you and your little boyfriend," the jock-esque guy stated. He had a bit of an accent, possibly a transfer student. He smirked, letting out a soft chuckle afterwards.
At that point, Michael was close enough to hear what the guy said and he hissed again. Fuck, he just knew that was going to set Lukas off. He was so easy to make upset and any hint at an insult was gonna do it without fail.

Lukas just grinned at him. He snickered, drawing out his switchblade. Just a little flick of his wrist and the blade was drawn, the boy still laughing. "Why? What's so fucking funny about me and my boyfriend?" Because they were two dudes? 'Cause Michael's face? Lukas licked the edge of the knife, his steely eyes fixated on the bigger guy. "Mh," he hummed pleasurably, slicing a small bit of his tongue.
"Ever tasted your own blood?" He taunted, taking a step closer to test the guy. "I can help you."
