When the boy broke down, Lance almost lost it. He held him tighter, let his head hang low. God, he felt like a piece of shit.

He lifted the boy's face by his chin, getting a better look at him. That reddened nose, his flushed cheeks, those red-rimmed and glossy eyes. It was absolutely heart-wrenching.

"You uh... want to get out of here?" His voice was calm and deep as he asked the question.

Did Lance know? That his need to use the restroom was a ruse; once given permission to leave, he'd would have actually left. The runaway frowned, his grey eyes welling up again. Lukas couldn't cry anymore, but he nodded. "Yes," he answered, sadly. He just wanted to go back to the apartment now, he didn't wanna roam around anymore where he could be seen.

Lance nodded and went back inside to gather up his things and let the rest of the band members know. They seemed fine with it and with that, Lance packed his stuff up into the car, got in, and waited until Lukas did as well before he headed off. Though, it wasn't into the direction of the apartment.

He waited by the car for Lance. Inside, he leaned against the window and watched the landscape sweep away. As he began to realize this wasn't the way to the apartment, he lifted his head and looked over at the man.

"Where are we going?"
