Where she met the man isn't really important, but she really hated the fact that she didn't use protection. Out of spite, she gave the baby his father's last name, which really irked Lance later on in life when he came to realize he was not only an accident, but an unwanted accident. [break][break] He was once the frontman for a band he and his friends got together and created in high school, though he left them when they chose the industry over him. Having a record deal is amazing! But is it worth it when they want you to change your sound? Lance didn't think so, so he booked it out of there. There was no way some richass punks were going to tell him what to do with his time and hard-earned talent. [break][break] Now, older and bitter, he regrets not staying with his friends. Seeing them on television made him angry and jealous, not to mention jaded. Lance decided to stay independent and not sign with any labels, but it's proven to be very difficult to be seen and heard. Now, in hindsight, he realizes that the industry and labels aren't all that bad (sometimes) and are an easy ticket to those things he wanted.
