Of course, he fought with Lance as he was turned around. The moment his back hit the door, he stopped and stared up at the bigger man. His jaw fell slack, his brows arched, breaking down again. None of his friends fucking cared, no one else came to get him or offered him a place to stay where he'd feel remotely safe. It's not like he did anyone any favors to deserve it, but Lance... he'd been shitty to this guy from the start, and he still came and picked him up when he called after a week of silence. Lukas leaned forward, hiding his face against the man's broad chest. He was so big, and so warm. He had a powerful presence, the kind you'd expect from a performer. "Fuck," his voice cracked, "Don't make me talk about it." Little lithe fingers gripped the guy's shirt. "Please... not now..." Lukas sobbed just a bit more, "I'll tell you... just not now."

Unfortunately, Lance wasn't going to hug him. He wasn't going to coddle him and tell him lies. That everything was going to be okay. Because Lance didn't know. When Lukas buried his face into Lance's shirt, the vocalist stood there and let him sob if he wanted to, ignoring the tears soaking through the fabric. Anyone would've thought him heartless in the situation, honestly.
"I'll make a pizza," he stated a few minutes after that, glancing over at the freezer. "Hope you like supreme because that's all i've got."

Really, that was the best thing Lance could have done. Coddling him, cooing it'd be ok, that would have just pissed the kid off. Because not even Lukas knew what might happen. And he left his mom home alone like that, what if they decided to just fuck with her? Oh, God... what the fuck was he thinking? He should have stayed there, waited there until his next gig in a few days. Then he'd have money to pay again... or maybe he could do some sorta side-work. It wouldn't be the first time, anyway. Lukas didn't need to be babied, he just needed something stronger than himself in that moment, and the stoic man was the perfect post.
He sniffed, calming down when it seemed the latter would leave it alone. He wiped at his eyes, quietly agreeing that it was alright. "I'm gonna use your bathroom." The kid added, shuffling off to find said place. Somewhere that he could be alone to really calm down, maybe wash his face and pretend like nothing happened.

He nodded, mentioned that the only bathroom he had was in his room, then moved to put the frozen pizza into the oven.
Lance wasn't worried. He figured that the kid would probably snoop, but the vocalist didn't really have anything private enough in his room to care if it was found.

Lukas rubbed his forearm, heading off through the man's bedroom. He just wanted to get to the bathroom. After he splashed his face, he rummaged through what he assumed was a closet. Unsure what the hell Lance did with his towels, he didn't wanna use the one hanging off the rack since it looked used. Drying his face with it made his cheeks warm, but even a clean towel still had the heavy scent of the man. The same scent he inhaled when his face buried into his chest just moments ago. It was the smell of clean, older guy. Except, sorta cheap and... he didn't know, breezy. Fresh, he guessed. From there, he wondered what soap Lance used. What shampoos and how they smelled. Lukas would tell himself he was just buying time, enjoying his stay in the bathroom until the pizza was done.
Leaving, now the bedroom caught his interest. It was weird to see how the other lived. His bedroom was pretty tidy, nothing really laying out except a shirt or loose condom. Lukas smirked, checking the brand and size he used. Very interesting... this guy was a real dog, wasn't he? Flipping it in his fingers, he tucked the little unopened packet into his pocket. There were a bunch of CDs and other shit, not really any books. Unsure why, he expected a lot more books. If anything, he discovered that the older man was really just... a typical adult. Come to think of it, he forgot that Lance wasn't that old. Twenty-three, he'd said? Lukas couldn't remember.
When he smelled the pizza, he carried on into the kitchen. Out of the way, he leaned against the counter with his arms crossed. "Where's your knives?" Lukas opened a drawer, finding it full of miscellaneous junk. Nothing that could be used to cut the pizza.

Twenty-three, indeed. Lance wasn't super messy unless he was dealing with some sort of depressive slump. That or he was too high to do anything. He didn't get high often. He did get drunk though. A lot.
Inside his room were notebooks and pens, pencils, cds, and of course condoms. Lukas was correct in his assumption in assuming Lance were a dog. He always had a condom in his pocket, in his nightstand, in his dashboard of the car. At least he was safe?
When Lukas came back through, Lance was digging through his silverware drawer and pulled out a pizza cutter. "Knives don't cut pizza," he replied flatly. He plated the slices, refilled their glasses, and sat down on the couch once more. A sigh left him, then he took a big bite of his dinner.

Well, if he wanted to get fancy... the kid snorted, pushing the drawer closed. Knives could definitely cut pizza, this guy just didn't know how to use them. He took the plate, knowingly getting another slice for himself. One by one, he picked off the green peppers and black olives. He liked the flavor the peppers added, but he didn't like to actually eat them. Inversely, the same with olives. He didn't like the taste, but he liked the texture. Nails piddled with them while he chewed, slowly making his way to the couch. For a frozen pizza, this was insanely good. Lukas lowered to his knees, sitting up at the coffee table. He didn't say much, didn't talk much, though he peered over at Lance every now and then. What now? Would he really let him stick around? Lance caught on to his scheme way before the brunette expected. Eventually, he'd have to tell him.
"My mom's a junkie," he started, slowly explaining the situation between bites. Better to get it over with, right?

Rubbing his fingers together over his plate, he rubbed the crumbs away as he chewed, glancing over at the punk when he'd revealed one of his secrets. Lance made a noise, giving a slight nod, as if he wasn't all that surprised.
It was when he looked up did he notice the peppers and olives picked off and placed on the side. Those were some of the best parts. What was wrong with this guy? He reached over and scooped them up between his fingers and popped them into his mouth, crunching on the peppers and olives with a perked brow, listening to the guy speak.

He wasn't offended that Lance showed no signs of surprise, he was more offended when the guy reached over to pluck food off his plate. Luckily, he only took the bits Lukas didn't want though the younger male snarled regardless. His expression turned a bit sour watching Lance crunch on those vegetables. Turning his head down, he finished his story quickly. "So... yeah," His shoulders were shrugged up to his ears, looking uncomfortable as he ate the second slice. Truthfully, it wasn't so much the drugs as much as it was Lukas not letting his mom fuck around for a fix. And he left out the part where he'd cussed the dude out, insulted him, and got into a minor scrape before running off after he caught them together. "That's what happened. Mostly."

Lance didn't care if he liked him picking food off his plate or not. Lukas would get over it.
As he continued his story, Lance continued to listen as he ate, nodding every now and again to show that he was. "I see," was his reply.
Truthfully, whatever was happening with Lukas' mom was none of Lance's business. It sucked, sure, but it wasn't something the vocalist was going to worry about.
However, "You can crash here if you need to," he went on to say after another bite, pushing the food to the side so he could speak more clearly.
