Even on emergency visits, Rowan still feels awkward. Perhaps she feels even worse that he cleared his schedule to see her, and she still didn't arrive on time. Rowan never had a good record of actually showing up to talk about her problems.
"Doctor Raines will see you now, Ms. House." Fuck, it was time. She didn't really need to talk, her mind was like a volcano and felt like it was consistently erupting. Might as well face the music.
If she wasn't going crazy already, the smell, the generally aura of this place was going to make her lose her last gripe on sanity. She swung open his door and took a seat as far away as she could - hopefully so she couldn't meet his stare. "Before you ask, yes I have been self-medicating again."
