[attr="class","gold"] BIRTHNAME: ATTICUS BRADLY HOMETOWN: ASHFORD, ENGLAND BIRTHDATE: 13 AUGUST (24) PLAYED BY:[break] RIZ [break][break] FACECLAIM:[break] TOUKEN RANBU[break] [b]SHOKUDAIKIRI MITSUTADA[/b] - @atticus | [attr="class","fngapp-header"]ATTICUS [attr="class","dust"] You've got a pretty face, you're told at a ripe young age. In a few years, that comment comes with the unspoken meaning of: "use it." [break][break] And you do. That's how you get yourself put in a magazine article. That's how you get yourself on the cover of a magazine. That's how you get yourself on billboards and countless publications all with your name ATTICUS scrawled over them in a signature font. Always all capital letters too, because otherwise it wouldn't be a label would it? Your career as a model shapes your life, but you're pretty sure it's sealed your fate at the same time. [break][break] You smile for the camera, and that's what you signed up for. But you hadn't really counted on smiling for producers and smiling for agents and smiling for the people that had nothing to do with your shoots but everything to do with your next appearance. Advertising companies, clothing brands, food products, you name it and soon enough they're knocking on your door asking you to be their model. And you (but sometimes your agency) accept with, of course, a smile. Because keeping good work relations and a good character are evidently just as important as keeping your skin clear, eyes sharp, and face alluring. [break][break] Your move to Canada is broadcasted like you'd expected. When tabloids interview you during your last week in England, you'd had your response scripted and rehearsed until you could recite it as naturally as if it'd been a genuine response off the fly. You want to further your career, you say, expand your horizons and see how well you do overseas considering your popularity in the UK. Picture perfect and totally reasonable, you're just a model advancing his fame and fortune while maybe becoming a little more cultured in the process. [break][break] This is probably for the best, even if it's not quite true. Those are definitely your (or maybe your agency's) professional intentions, but really you're starting to get tired. This job is seeming more and more shitty by the day, but because you're a damn good professional by now you can hold back your real feelings and carry on. Maybe you get a little more bitter, catty, and cynical towards your personal assistants and the agents that manage you, but as long as you leave that attitude behind when it counts the higher ups don't really give a shit. [break][break] You wonder how many people do, honestly, when it comes to you. Because what if you admitted you'd only agreed to leave England for Flandres, Canada to relive what it's like to introduce yourself as Atticus without the unnecessary capitalization and without leaving off your last name? Your agency is hoping for your popularity to escalate but you kind of wish it'd dwindle in this new country.
