WIDE EYED GRINNING Xenos decided to visit a music shop after he went to lunch, there was something about Chinatown that he liked. Though he wouldn't dare walk around after dark - no, he was a coward. He had a few hours to kill before he ran back to his nice apartment, and left this world behind.
Maybe he should have paid attention to where he was walking, maybe he shouldn't have been zoned out. Maybe just maybe, he shouldn't have practically ran over someone - a young girl? a young boy? he couldn't tell - with his body. "Oh, god. I'm.. I'm really sorry." His voice was soft, he had to clear his throat as if he hadn't bothered to talk for hours. He leaned down to help whoever up. @karin

[googlefont="PT Serif"] running, karin collides with him mid-stride and hits the ground hard. the pain is dull (as pain tends to be), and she recovers quickly, grabbing his hand eagerly.
"no, i'm sorry." she surveys him hastily, decides he'll do, and flings her arms around his neck in a rough hug. "i'm like, so late."

WIDE EYED GRINNING He doesn't understand why she pulls him into a hug, and is a little taken back by it all. It takes him a bit to decide whether or not to embrace her, so Xenos just holds his arms up around her - hovering over her back. He decides in the end to embrace her.
"No... no it's my fault." He doesn't sound confident in his convictions, but then again, Xenos oozed cowardice not conviction. "I'm sorry if I-I've made you late."
"Are... are you alright?" @karin

[googlefont="PT Serif"] "don't be." she releases him, looks up at him with earnest eyes, then back over her shoulder. they've barely broken apart for a moment when karin links her arm with his and starts to walk.
she weaves a winding path down a few narrow alleys, crushing against the grain on the crowded streets, all with a mad conviction that begs to be followed and a grip that insists on it. they are somewhere dingy and grey, a rotting bit of the city, when she releases him.
"thanks. there was a guy who was following me for like, three blocks." her tone amused, karin can't help but add, "i think he realized i stole his wallet."
