[break][break] you graduated from the famous conservatoire de paris young, toyed with a music career in europe and taught there not soon afterwards (although it's no false rumour that you got fired pretty quickly too). the music here is sub par, the music schools here too sub par to even dare fire you. even the students know to grin and bare it; your music theory class is supposed to be for the 'top of the top': fully subscribed each term, kids moving onto either being famous musicians or earn a good living in the music industry. not like you give a shit. a guy's gotta eat when a guy needs to eat. [break][break] your head is a can of worms and no amount of furious scale practicing or dabbling in different instruments will cure it. you live every day like it's both your last and your next. you will write scores and it will itch. you will leave a trail of destruction and it'll leave you itching until you bleed. can't stop, won't stop, can't nobody stop you now? [break][break] so you now work three days a week and do vocal training on the side. an old acquaintance from the conservatoire signs you up for it, and you don't find yourself caring either way. if there's more cotton for your ears, you will take it and you will stuff it up your nose, ears...
