As a kid, Teddy was raised by his grandma. They weren't rich, but the old lady made sure he got as comfortable a childhood as he can have without any parents. The boy was rowdy from day one. He had something rude to say to everyone and everything. The only person he loved and would behave in front of was his grandma. He's only cursed at his grandmother once in his whole life, and he spent longer crying about it than the old lady. Trying to curb her grandson's bad behavior, his grandmother bought him a guitar for his 12th birthday. At least he can direct some energy into something productive. It didn't help make him a good citizen, but it sure helped focus his attention on something. He wasn't exceptional at it since he barely bothered to practiced, but he loved strumming the instrument.

Along with a few of his neighborhood friends, Lukas and Michael,  they formed the Bad Kids in his grandma's garage. Good thing the old woman was almost deaf. Teddy dropped out of school to move to Flandres with Lukas and the others.

Without his grandma around to keep his wild streak in check, Teddy was free to copy his band's destructive behavior. As the youngest member of the band, Teddy's constantly trying to please his older band mates. He's easy to push around, though you might get a face full of profanity while you're doing it. Despite his rough personality, Teddy has a heart of gold. A heart that's just hidden under layers of nastiness.
