It was still too chilly to have an outside concert in the middle of the park, but Kiira was examining the outside stage anyway. She absolutely loved the outdoors and the thought of a park concert was really exciting for her!
She walked along the stage from one end to the other, then ran across it instead. Her heeled shoes clicked with each step as she dashed back and forth. She stopped in the middle and imagined herself behind the microphone, all dressed up in a pretty dress and makeup. The crowd would be huge! Kiira just knew it would be.

the weather remains frightfully chilly. it's no longer winter, but the trees still loom ominously even during the daytime and being outside is still like biting into raw ice; but if the weather bothered emily, she certainly made no show if it. she's walking as if in a movie in mid autumn. but, in noticing movement on the outdoor stage from a nearby bench, she walks over, taking every step carefully until she stands right underneath the stage. and looks up. she blinks, but her attention is held. she's stunned, so she doesn't say anything right away, and only watches the girl. she is reminded of cherry blossoms, and, wonders if spring has finally reached her. So focused and into her imaginations, she doesn't notice the dark girl at her feet at first. Kiira's too into planning and what types of outfits to wear and how to style her hair. She does notice her eventually, though. Her dark hair, her dark clothes, the way she stares up at her from below. Pretty rubies, or maybe sweet cherries instead.
Kiira smiles down at her and kneels to get to her level, arms wrapping around her knees as she crouches. "Hey!"

she doesn't realise she was entranced by some entity she doesn't understand, but thankfully, she manages to collect her consciousness quick enough to formulate some socially acceptable answer. "I didn't ask if you're okay, but it's great that you are!" She replies with a warm smile just like before. "I like your clothes. Where did you get them?"
One thing that Kiira absolutely loves is very cute clothes. As long as they're cute, she doesn't really care what style they are and this girl's outfit is absolutely adorable.

her breath hitches momentarily, and she finds herself digging her nails into her palms. it takes her all just to think of an answer, but she cuts her thought process short because she doesn't want to keep her waiting. she smiles wrily. her perfectly straight hair follows as she tilts her head involuntarily. "what's your name?" she asks instead. her eyes dart to the other girl's, and emily finds her hands shamelessly trying to touch the other girl's hands. The wind blows softly and pushes the gothic girl's hair, the straight strands riding the breeze beautifully like dark swirls and waves of black water flowing around her.
So pretty...
"My name is Kiira, but you can call me Kiki if you want," she replies as the other's hands reach for her own and helps her down off the stage. Her hands are chilly, but Kiira blames it on the coolness in the air. "What's yours?"

She smiles again, not that she really stopped smiling to begin with, and tilts her head to the side. "Your name is pretty, too," she replies, giving Emily's hands a gentle squeeze. "It's very suiting to your image."
Like that character from a book who's favorite colors are red and black with a rather strange connotation. "I really like your outfit." She really wants to know where she got it!

she doesn't try to hold in a smile. it is faltering, nervous, but it is a smile. her lips, painted a pale blueberry, press together ever so slightly, and now she can't quite meet her eyes. "thank you." she dips her head. "do you want to... um..." she squeezes her eyes shut, long fake lashes trembling. deep breath. breathe. she squeezes her hand.
