Jazz itself is definitely more fun than classical. Anything modern is more fun, really.
He looks up at her again when asked the question and smiles softly at her before he answers. "I'm a metal vocalist who writes his own music sometimes," he replies before taking a large drink of his whiskey.

they're both speaking in assumptions, that one happens to be right. violetta is curious as to what type of girl he's imagining her be. canting her head, she opens her mouth to ask, when she feels her phone vibrating in her bag, the ringtone muffled in the din. flashing him a terse smile, she fishes it out. "hello? oh, was it... oh... okay, wait... where are you?" her eyes shift between looking at the wall behind lance's head and his empty glass. she hangs up the call and slides from her seat. "sorry, i have to run." she pulls out a crumpled bill for her drink, drops it on the table, forgets her notebook and turns on her heel, disappearing through the crowd. LANCE DAVIDSON |

Lance glances down and takes her notebook, moving to his side of the table as he flips through it. How very interesting...
He smirks, puts a bill on the table for his own drink as well, then slips out the door a few minutes after Violetta, heading home.
