Kiira was born in Sweden and lived there for several years before her parents decided to move to Canada. [break][break]While she was in Sweden she hung around a lot of people who were in the electronic scene. They introduced her to Japanese electronic and she was easily hooked.

Kiira recognized how extreme Japanese media and entertainment could be, but she thought it was a shame that the Western world was so conservative and, dare she say, afraid of the music over in the East. She took it upon herself to try and find a style that was still fun and exciting, yet tame enough for Westerner's ears.

Anything with a synthetic and electrical pop sound is what she aims for. Sometimes her music is lyricless, sometimes she sings, and sometimes she raps a little. It all depends on what sounds really nice with the music she creates and experiments with.

Her costume style is usually very sweet lolita inspired when she's onstage, but she's known to dress in darker clothes as well. Kiira's favorite, by far, is anything covered in pinks, pastels, candy, and sweet confections. Her costumes usually consist of frills and sparkles, bows and headbands as well as elaborate makeup and fingernail designs and dangelies. She likes cute little animals as well like stuffed teddy bears or kittens.

When Kiira, known as Kiki on stage, started out, it was on her own computer in her room at home after school. She would post her stuff online as KiKi and was eventually discovered after her music became popular on a Swedish music forum. She was picked up by Wrong Angle Records and now has high quality equipment to work with as well as concert opportunities.[break][break]
